Business Director
I lead teams of Sales Professionals – not just raising their capabilities but also able to “bill & build” – carrying multi-million dollar personal and team targets.
- Set up, acquired, merged, divested and dissolved businesses (including recruitment, performance management, dismissal and redundancy programmes)
- strong experience of working to corporate processes and compliance – and ensuring that subordinates also comply
- establishing business priorities (balancing corporate goals with customer requirements)
- managing and directing organizations towards primary objectives (corporate vision and strategy, articulated into operational goals) – focussed on profit
- developing a culture of proactivity in the business

- working with senior colleagues to project and deliver growth

- building in a culture of continuous improvement with regards to people, process and systems as a method for decreasing cost-of-sale and increasing the bottom-line

- ‘rainmaker’ since 2001- responsible for targeted revenues from $3m to $32m
- develop business streams through direct sales, account management and partners
- management of delivery function – using delivery as a mechanism for cross-selling and up-selling within the customer
- sales performance coach – transforming under-performing businesses and teams through motivation, development and mentoring – turnaround of numerous (inherited) under-performing professionals within sales teams
- P&L responsibilities – from sales pipeline management for projections through to financial responsibilities
